1:1 Initial Session
A 60-minute, no-commitment initial session for new clients
A first one-to-one session is an opportunity to slow down, talk things through and get a sense of what you need from counselling or coaching.
We’ll explore what’s happening in your life, what you would like to change or understand, and what kind of support might be helpful. We might work with stress, overwhelm, relationships, confidence, difficult emotions, life transitions, creativity, work or simply a sense that something needs to change.
Depending on what you bring, this may be primarily counselling, more coaching-focused, or a combination of the two.
I offer space to reflect and process, while also bringing observations, questions, ideas and perspectives from my own experience when they may be useful.
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a short intake form to complete before we meet.
Our initial session is always done via video call, with in-person options available if we continue working together.
Ongoing 1:1 Session
A 60- or 90-minute extended session for returning clients
Ongoing one-to-one sessions for clients who want to continue exploring what's happening in their lives and create meaningful change over time.
Sessions can move between counselling and coaching, according to what feels most useful.
There is space to slow down and listen to what is really going on, but also to look at practical possibilities and consider different ways forward. I may offer reflections, suggestions or personal anecdotes where they help open up a different perspective.
We work at your pace, with the flexibility to let the work develop, according to what you bring to each session.
Sessions are available in-person in Merseyside and Cheshire, and via video call.
Walk & Talk
Counselling & Coaching
Connecting with nature, grounding
and reconnecting with yourself
Sometimes it’s easier to talk when you’re not sitting opposite someone in a room.
Walk & Talk sessions take our work outdoors, using the local landscape as a more natural setting for conversation, reflection and movement. Being outside can create a different quality of space and may suit people who find a conventional therapy room too formal or enclosed.
Depending on the session and what feels right for you, we can incorporate mindfulness, awareness of the body, connection with nature and grounding or earthing practices alongside the therapeutic conversation.
Sessions take place in the local area and are arranged according to the weather, your needs and the location that works best.
One-to-one outdoor sessions available in Merseyside and Cheshire,
and further afield by prior arrangement.
Specialist Support for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
fibromyalgia, burnout & other fatigue-related conditions
chronic stress, overwhelm & tech overload
I have a particular interest in supporting people living with chronic stress, burnout, overwhelm and the challenges that can come with longer-term health conditions, including CFS/ME and fibromyalgia.
My interest here is personal as well as professional. Having lived through CFS/ME myself, I understand something of what it can be like when your available energy, concentration and capacity suddenly become very different from what they once were.
This isn't about promising a cure or trying to push you back to a version of yourself that no longer fits. We can explore how you are living now, what is draining you, what helps you feel more settled, and how you might reconnect with the parts of life that matter to you.
Depending on your interests and circumstances, our work may include mindfulness, body awareness, nature connection, grounding and earthing, alongside counselling and coaching.
This can be particularly relevant if you're experiencing CFS/ME, fibromyalgia or other long-term fatigue conditions – or chronic stress, burnout, overwhelm, or technology overload – and feel that your current way of living is no longer sustainable.
60-minute one-to-one sessions, online or by arrangement in person.
